Aruba Networks Inc. (ARUN) Thursday reported third-quarter GAAP net loss of $20.2 million or $0.18 per share, compared to a net income of $6.0 million or $0.05 per share in the year ago quarter.
Non-GAAP net income for the quarter was $14.0 million or $0.11 per share, down from $19.4 million, or $0.16 per share in the comparable quarter last year. On average, 25 analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to report earnings of $0.15 per share for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.
Meanwhile, revenue for the quarter was $147.14 million, an increase of 12 percent from $131.89 million in the year ago quarter, while twenty four analysts had consensus revenue estimate of $149.76 million for the quarter.
