Autodesk Inc. (ADSK) reported first quarter adjusted EPS of $0.42 after the bell Thursday, which fell short of the consensus estimate of $0.45. Second quarter adjusted EPS is expected to be between $0.39 and $0.44, compared to the consensus estimate of $0.51.
Autodesk gapped open lower Friday, but traded in a range for the majority of the session. The stock finished down by 2.67 at $37.11, with volume at over an 8-month high. Autodesk fell to over a 2-week low and dropped below its 50-day moving average.
