Chinese Premier Li Keqiang left Beijing on Sunday to India, marking his first official foreign visit as premier of the world's second largest economy. He will visit Pakistan, Switzerland and Germany also. Li received invitation from the heads of states of these four countries.
Li chose to visit India first, amid border tensions between the two neighbors. The two nations together account for about 40 percent of the world's population.
