Producer price inflation in Portugal eased in April, the latest figures published by Statistics Portugal showed Monday.
The industrial production price index rose 0.5 percent year-on-year in April, slower than a 1.4 percent gain in April. On a monthly basis, the index fell 0.4 percent.
In the manufacturing sector, producer prices fell 0.9 percent year-on-year and was down 0.7 percent on a monthly basis.
