Two Newark residents were killed and four others were injured after an alleged gas explosion was set off.
Rescue crews recently discovered the body of a woman in the rubble of the destroyed home, UK's The Independent reports.
One man's body was also found following the explosion. Two adults and two children were seriously injured from the incident that witnesses described as a bomb going off.
Officials have confirmed the two children and the woman were treated for smoke inhalation and were released; the man remains hospitalized.
The gas explosion happened at a home where neighbors say a couple and their small child resided. As a result, more than 100 nearby neighbors were forced to evacuate their homes.
Officials say a home next door to the now destroyed structure was half blown off. One local resident said, "I went down the street and I could see the house - it was in pieces," UK's The Independent reports.
A neighbor who lives about 100 yards from the home said all he could hear were children screaming moments after the explosion.
Police have not confirmed the names of any of the victim's yet.
