An Alabama man was arrested who allegedly bought over 80 boxes of pseudoephedrine within the last two years.
The 42-year-old man claimed he had sinus problems but a relative of his said he did not suffer from such problems, local television station WAAY reports. The relative's information lead task force agents to search a home where they discovered four old methamphetamine labs in a bedroom.
Items used to make the meth were also found which James Edward Jones Jr admitted were his.
A sheriff said Jones had recently bought six boxes of pseudoephedrine at a local business in the last two months. The official said the man sold the drug used for sinus problems to meth makers for $50 to $75 a box.
Allegedly, Jones made meth with children around.
He was arrested outside of the business he bought the boxes from, and held without bond. He was charged with unlawful manufacturing of a controlled substance, felony possession of drug paraphernalia and chemical endangerment of a child.
