Omaha officials are investigating two double homicides that may be linked to one another.
Reuters reports they are looking into the murders of a doctor and his wife who were both found dead in their home last week. Dr. Roger Brumback worked as a doctor and taught at Creighton University School of Medicine.
Another case, from March 2008, involves an 11-year-old and his family's housekeeper. Thomas Hunter and Shirlee Sherman, 57, were both stabbed to death in the boy's home. The boy's father was a co-worker of Brumback's in the pathology department.
Brumback was nearing his retirement from Creighton at the time of the incident, and had plans to go to West Virginia in June. He was known for his work on Alzheimer's, Reuters reports.
