SPML Infra Bags Rs.488 Cr. New Orders

Infrastructure development company SPML Infra Ltd. said it had won new orders worth Rs.488 crore.

The first order was for Rs.396 crore for water infrastructure development work in Ratangarh-Sujangarh and Fatehpur-Laxmangarh in Churu district of Rajasthan, to be completed in three years.

The second order was for Rs.92 crore from PHED, Jaipur, for development of water supply system for 92 villages along with other habitations of tehsil Laxmangarhof Sikar district in Rajasthan. The construction period for this project is two years.

Executive Director Rishabh Sethi commented, "SPML has been developing modern infrastructure for drinking water supply, waste water treatment and sewerage management for the past three decades in India and have a special connect with Rajasthan where we have developed a number of water infrastructure. The new order is an extension of our existing works, we are excited to receive this further order that will help us in building robust infrastructure in providing drinking water to almost half a million population of Churu district and over a lac population in Sikar district. It is a testimony of our capabilities in executing water management projects and the trust, our esteemed clients' places in us."

At the BSE, SPML Infra closed Wednesday's trading at Rs.42.70, up 2.64 percent from the previous close.
