Hewlett-Packard (HPQ) Is Climbing On Better Than Expected Q2 Earnings

Hewlett-Packard (HPQ) reported second quarter adjusted EPS of $0.87 after the bell Wednesday, which topped the consensus estimate of $0.81. The company expects to report third quarter adjusted EPS of $0.84 to $0.87 and between $3.50 and $3.60 for the full year 2013. The consensus estimates are for EPS of $0.84 and $3.49. The stock is now up 2.65 on 5.3 million shares.

Hewlett-Packard traded in a range for the bulk of Wednesday's session and closed up by 0.12 at $21.23. The stock has been moving in a narrow range for the last 2 weeks.
