Two Indiana Men Arrested On Drug-Related Charges

Two Indiana men were both arrested within days of each other on drug-related charges.

The first incident happened after police received a tip of a possible methamphetamine production. Local television station WANE reports that Sheriff's and Drug Task Force officers arrived to the residence of Norman Lee McCord, 56, where they discovered a one-pot meth lab.

According to police, the Indiana State Police Clandestine Lab team removed the lab from the scene. McCord was home at the time officials arrived thus leading to his arrest. He was charged with a manufacturing methamphetamine felony.

The second most recent arrest was made in the same county on Ronald Douglas Meade Sr., 63. The man had been part of an on-going investigation of allegedly selling undisclosed prescription medications to officers. He was arrested and taken to jail on a charge of felony dealing in a Schedule I controlled substance.

Both men are being held on $10,000 separate bonds.
