Man Arrested For Downloading Child Porn At McDonald's

Police in Fresno, California, have arrested a man sitting near a children's play area at a McDonald's after authorities discovered that he had child pornography on his computer's hard drive.

Local television station KFSN reports that Jeremy Hudler, 25, a registered sex offender, spent the past two years using the free Internet at the McDonald's and was a known regular in the children's play area at the restaurant.

"At the time they contacted him he was trying to erase his hard drive and they believe he was downloading child porn at that time," said Chris Curtice of the Fresno County Sheriff's Office.

Curtice added that the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force had been watching Hudler for a while. Their investigation found multiple computer programs that were used to both download and share child pornography.

As authorities approached him, Hudler tried to erase the files on his computer.

Police have asked to be notified by anyone with information in regards to Hudler.
