Authorities in Columbia, South Carolina have arrested a man who was allegedly manufacturing meth and possessing heroin with the intent to distribute.
The State newspaper reports that Jerry Ward Galloway, 36, was arrested on Wednesday after authorities received a tip about a wanted person inside a home on Lincoln Street. When police went in to search the house, they found Galloway hiding in a closet.
Authorities searched the rest of the home and discovered a small amount of liquid methamphetamine along with several small plastic baggies containing heroin that had an estimated street value of $260.
Back in October of 2012, Galloway was also arrested after authorities found meth in a trashcan in backyard of his home along with other meth-making materials and marijuana.
Galloway has not been tried on his previous arresting charges. He is currently being held at the Alvin S. Glenn Detention Center.
