CapLease Inc. (LSE) announced Tuesday morning that it agreed to be acquired by American Realty Capital Properties (ARCP) for $8.50 per share or approximately $2.2 billion.
CapLease gapped open sharply higher this morning and is now up 1.40 at $8.50 on strong volume. The stock has broken out to a new high for the year.
