Toyota Motor Sales USA Inc., a part of Toyota Motor Corp. (TM), said Monday that its US vehicle sales in May grew 2.5 percent to 207,952 units from 202,97 units a year ago.
There were 26 selling days in May 2013, unchanged from the prior year.
At its namesake Toyota division, sales grew 2.3 percent to 185,723 units from 181,510 units last year. Meanwhile, at Lexus division, sales rose 3.6 percent to 22,229 units from 21,463 units.
