UK's Network Rail Selects TCS As Partner To Drive Transformation Through IT

Tata Consultancy Services Ltd. announced that it has been selected by Network Rail Infrastructure Ltd. as part of its strategic Information Technology transformation journey.

The IT Solutions and Systems Integration framework agreement encompasses identifying, defining, designing, building and integration of next generation IT solutions for Network Rail.

Through this transformational initiatives, Network Rail is implementation a structured multi-sourcing model to invest in a customer-centric IT strategy over four years to deliver greater efficiency, effectiveness and innovation across the organization. TCS will be a key enabler in helping Network Rail to achieve its objective of generating an outstanding value for taxpayers and users by continually improving the railway.

Country Head, UK and Ireland Shankar Narayanan said, "We are delighted to have been selected by network Rail in this strategic program. At the BSE, Tata Consultancy Services shares are currently trading at Rs.1,463.50, down 0.09 percent from the previous close.
