Air France-KLM May Traffic Rises 4.7%, Capacity Up 3.5% - Quick Facts

Franco-Dutch airline Air France-KLM (AFRAF.PK) reported that its traffic in May 2013 increased 4.7% from May 2012, on a capacity increase of 3.5%.

Traffic, measured in Revenue pax-kilometers or RPK, increased 4.7 percent to 18.98 billion from 18.12 billion RPK in the same month last year.

Capacity, determined by Available seat-kilometers or ASK, was 3.5 percent higher at 23.23 billion compared to 22.44 billion ASK last year.

Passengers carried increased 3.9% to 6.80 million from 6.55 million in the prior year.

Load factor for the month was 81.7%, up 0.9 points from 80.8% in the year ago month
