Daqo New Energy Corp. (DQ) reported that its first-quarter of 2013 net loss attributable to shareholders widened to $18.7 million, from $13.7 million in the same quarter last year. Loss per ADS were $2.70, compared to a loss of $1.95 in the year ago quarter. Revenues were $14.5 million, compared to $32.0 million in the first quarter of 2012.
For the second quarter of 2013, the company expects to ship 920 MT of polysilicon. The Company also expects to ship approximately 6.5 million pieces of wafer and 25 MT of multi-crystal silicon ingots and blocks.
