European Economics Preview: Eurozone Sentix Investor Confidence Data Due

Eurozone investor confidence is the major report due on Monday, headlining a light day for the European economic news.

The State Secretariat for Economic Affairs is slated to release Swiss unemployment data at 1.45 am ET. The jobless rate is seen unchanged at 3.1 percent in May.

At 2.30 am ET, Bank of France is scheduled to publish the results of business sentiment survey. Thereafter, French industrial output figures are due at 2.45 am ET. Production is expected to grow 0.2 percent month-on-month in April.

At 3.00 am ET, Czech inflation data is due. Economists forecast inflation to ease marginally to 1.6 percent in May from 1.7 percent in April. In the meantime, Turkey's industrial production figures are due.

Half an hour later, Statistics Sweden is set to release industrial output and new orders data.

At 4.00 am ET, Italy's industrial output and Norway's consumer prices are due. Italy's industrial production is expected to remain flat in April.

At 4.30 am ET, Eurozone Sentix investor confidence is due. The index is forecast to improve to -10.3 in June from -15.6 in May.
