Discount stores operator Dollar Tree, Inc. (DLTR), Monday announced the promotion of Gary Philbin to President and Chief Operating Officer with effect from June 10. Gary had been the Senior Vice President of Stores in 2001 and was promoted as the COO of the company in 2007.
Bob Sasser, chief executive, said, "...Among his many notable achievements are the improvement of Dollar Tree customer satisfaction and shopping experience and the integration of our Canadian stores."
