Macquarie upgraded its rating on shares of Monsanto Co. (MON) Monday morning to "Outperform" from "Neutral."
Monsanto gapped open sharply Monday and posted gains in early trade, before settling into a narrow range. The stock finished up by 4.60 at $106.25 on above average volume. Monsanto rose to a 2 1/2 week high and re-crossed its 50-day moving average.
