German aviation group Lufthansa Group (DLAKY.PK, DLAKF.PK) reported that its May traffic, measured in revenue seat-kilometers, was 18.45 billion, up 4.0 percent from last year.
Capacity, measured in available seat-kilometers, was 23.59 billion, up 3.4 percent year-on-year. Passenger load-factor was 78.2 percent, up 0.4 percentage points.
The group said yield in May was down on last year, in particular due to the public
holidays, a deliberately higher proportion of Economy passengers and a continued weaker performance in Asia.
