Ulta Salon, Cosmetics & Fragrance (ULTA) reported first quarter net income of $0.65 per share after the bell Tuesday, up from $0.54 per share last year. The consensus estimate was for EPS of $0.62. Second quarter EPS is expected to be between $0.64 and $0.67, compared to the consensus estimate of $0.68. The stock is now up 2.97 on 196K shares.
Ulta Salon fell below Tuesday's range in late trade and finished down by 2.46 at $84.13. The stock dropped to a month and a half low.
