Retail sales in the Netherlands continued to fall in April, data from Statistics Netherlands showed Thursday.
Sales value declined 0.6 percent year-on-year in April following a 5.2 percent fall in the previous month. Retail trade in food and beverages rose 1.1 percent and that of non-food articles fell 1.3 percent.
In terms of volume, retail sales fell 2.7 percent year-on-year following a 7.6 percent dip in March.
