Cherokee Inc. (CHKE) reported net income for the first quarter of $1.6 million or $0.19 per share, compared to $2.1 million or $0.25 per share for the year-ago quarter.
Excluding items, adjusted net income for the latest quarter was $2.2 million or $0.27 per share.
Net revenues for the first quarter rose 7.2% to $8.1 million from $7.5 million a year ago, mainly due to revenues from Liz Lange and higher revenues from other international licensees.
