Men's Wearhouse Inc. (MW) reported first quarter EPS of $0.65 after the bell Wednesday, up from $0.52 a year ago. The consensus estimate was for EPS of $0.55. Full year 2013 EPS is expected to be between $2.70 and $2.80, compared to the consensus estimate of $2.75.
Men's Wearhouse gapped up Thursday and climbed during the first half hour of trade, before settling into a range. The stock finished up by 2.02 at $37.61 and set a 9-month high.
