Microblogging mammoth Twitter, in partnership with data visualization firm Vizify, has come up with a new tool titled #FollowMe, to help users create short, assorted reels about themselves, developed from the way they use Twitter.
Thus, Twitterians can now make videos of their best photos, Vine videos, Tweets, topics and followers in a split-second. Along with that, the video can also carry some interesting stats like the number of times the user is active in a day, the words the users tweet the most, and the like, with music in the background. The video is an HTML5 animation, which is mostly automatically created. If the user wishes to edit it, the option is available.
To get the video done, is very simple. Sign in to Vizify, and enable access to their Twitter account. After the authorization is done, Vizify creates a customized video for the user. If the user feels that the video needs some tinkering, there are options to edit the music and images. After addition and deletion of shots from the video, it can be posted on Twitter through the "Add to my Twitter bio" option. If the user wishes to create a new video, all they need to do is to refresh to avail a different one.
This is not Twitter's first partnership with Vizify, as six months ago, the social networking biggie teamed up with the Portland start-up for a project named, Your year on Twitter. Twitter has rolled out its new venture with NBA stars Kobe Bryant and Stephen Curry, and Glee actress Amber Riley, to help it gain popularity among the commoners.
