At 10 am ET, the National Association of Home Builders is scheduled to release its housing market index for June. Economists expect the index to rise to 45 from 44 in May.
The US dollar showed mixed trading ahead of the report. While the greenback edged lower against the euro and the pound, it held steady against the yen and the Swiss franc. As of 9:55 am ET, the dollar was trading at 1.3350 against the euro, 94.72 against the yen, 1.5744 against the pound and 0.9230 against the Swiss franc.
