Mitel Networks Corp. (MITL)(MNW.TO), a provider of cloud and premises-based unified communications software solutions, Monday closed the acquisition of one of its key suppliers, prairieFyre Software Inc. The net cash cost to Mitel for the acquisition is about $20 million.
prairieFyre is a privately held provider of contact center, business analytics, and workforce optimization software and services. The deal is expected to be accretive in the first year.
prairieFyre is an original equipment manufacturer that has supplied Mitel with its existing contact center solution. The deal is expected to further strengthen Mitel's position in the growing contact center market.
