Sikorsky Aircraft Corp. a subsidiary of United Technologies Corp. (UTX) Tuesday said it signed a contract with China's CITIC Offshore Helicopter Company for two S-92 helicopters to be used for the offshore oil crew transportation mission.
The company said contract was signed on May 10 in China and announced on tuesday from the Paris Air Show and that it plans to deliver the new S-92 helicopters in December 2014 and March 2015.
The company further said, this summer, it will formally offer the S-92 platform to the U.S. Government, which is seeking to replace the Marine One helicopter fleet that transports the President of the United States.
