Rooftop Fire Injures Two In Seattle

A Seattle firefighter and another person were injured Monday when a fire started in a grill on a rooftop in Seattle, KOMO is reporting.

According to officials, a resident of building in Pioneer Square was barbequing on the fifth-floor deck of their condo building when the fire started.

The fire was extinguished before it spread inside the building.
A firefighter was treated for minor injuries and a woman in her 60s was taken to Harborview Medical Center with first degree burns.

The woman is reportedly in stable condition at the hospital.

Damage is estimated at about $35,000.

The fire department is investigating the exact cause of the fire.
