Man Sets Church On Fire After Fight A With Pastor

A Las Vegas man admitted to attempting to burn down a church after a fight with the pastor, the Las Vegas Sun reports.

Adrian Kincade, 35, was arrested Friday and charged with felony burglary and arson.

Police said witnesses saw Kincade leave the Baptist church and saw the fire.

Witnesses also said that Kincade had threatened the pastor and his family in the past.

The fire caused about $100,000 in damage to the church.

The church building houses the Nellis Baptist Church and the Mission International Roca Eterna.

Kincade admitted to starting the fire, the Las Vegas Review-Journal reported.

"I started it," Kincade told police. "I took matches and paper and set a bench on fire near the entrance to the left of the door."

Kincade allegedly told police that he was at the church to take care of business.

The fire was contained to the lobby and did not damage the chapel.
