Biodel Inc. (BIOD) announced that it has priced an underwritten public offering of 4.48 million shares of its common stock at a public offering price of $4.35 per share.
All of the shares are being sold by Biodel. The offering is expected to close on June 24, 2013, subject to customary closing conditions. Biodel noted that it has also granted the underwriters a 30-day option to purchase up to an additional 672,414 shares to cover overallotments, if any.
William Blair & Company, L.L.C. is acting as the sole book-running manager of the offering and Ladenburg Thalmann & Co. Inc. is acting as co-manager for the offering.
