Intercept Pharmaceuticals Inc. (ICPT) announced after the close Tuesday that it priced an underwritten public offering of 1,730,000 shares of its common stock at a price of $33.01 per share.
Intercept Pharmaceuticals gapped open higher Wednesday and climbed for the bulk of the session. Shares finished up by 5.40 at $38.41 on the highest volume of the year. The stock surged to over a 3-month high.
