Filtration products maker Clarcor Inc. (CLC) reported net income for the second quarter of $33.1 million or $0.66 per share, compared to $32.9 million or $0.65 per share for the year-ago quarter.
Net sales for the second quarter grew 1% to $287.58 million from $284.86 million a year ago.
Analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to earn $0.67 per share on revenue of $290.19 million for the second quarter.
For the fiscal year 2013, the company now expects earnings of $2.45 to $2.55 per share, compared to its prior guidance of $2.45 to $2.60 per share. The company still expects sales growth of 2.5% to 4.0% for the fiscal year 2013.
Analysts currently expect the company to earn $2.56 per share on revenue growth of 3.30% for the fiscal year 2013.
