The pound drifted lower against most major opponents in early Asian deals on Thursday.
The pound reached a 1-week low of 1.4320 against the franc and near a 2-week low of 1.5446 against the dollar, compared to Wednesday's close of 1.4359 and 1.5484, respectively.
The pound hit session's low of 0.8589 against the euro and a move below this area will set its lowest level since May 30.
