Pratibha Industries Ltd. said it had bagged orders aggregating to Rs.526.20 crore construction contracts.
The company in joint venture with VA Tech Wabag Ltd., has secured an order for Rs.262 crore from Melamchi Water Supply Development Board, Nepal, for construction of water treatment plant at Sundarijal, Nepal, which will have an initial capacity of 85 MLD and will be designed to be expanded to 170 MLD, and then to 510 MLD at a later stage.
The water treatment plant is part of the Melamchi Water Supply Project, under the auspices of the Melamchi Water Supply development Board. The project has been funded by the Japan International Cooperation Agency. The project will treat water from the Melamchi River and discharge the treated water through pipeline up to battery limits.
Building division
The Building Division of the company has bagged a contract for Rs.264.20 crore from Bhartiya City Developers Pvt. Ltd. for the construction of housing project "Nikoo Homes" (including civil, structural and internal finishing works) at Thannisandra Outer Rind Road, Bengaluru. The project is to be completed within 34 months and envisages total built up area of around 32 lakh square feet.
At the BSE, Pratibha Industries shares are currently trading at Rs.31.70, down 0.94 percent from the previous close.
