Extending its 3-day winning streak, the European currency climbed back above the key 129.0 level against the yen after a gap of 8-days in late Asian deals on Thursday.
The euro rose as high as 129.11 around 2:50 am ET, up 0.75 percent from Wednesday's close of 128.13. Next key levels for the euro-yen pair to watch on the upside are 130.0, 130.80, 131.0 and 132.0.
