At 3.30 am ET, the Swiss National Bank will deliver its monetary policy decision. The central bank is expected to keep the Libor rate and franc cap unchanged.
The franc showed mixed performance ahead of the SNB announcement. While the Switzerland currency edged higher against the yen due to across the board weakening of the latter, it held steady against the rest of majors.
As of 3:25 am ET, the franc was trading at 0.9309 against the US dollar, 105.15 against the yen, 1.4377 against the pound and 1.2335 against the euro.
