State Bank of India (SBI) said the Central Government has appointed Ms. Arundhati Bhattacharya, Managing Director, as Chairperson of the bank for a period of three years from the date of her taking over the charge of the post i.e. October 07, 2013, or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
At the BSE, State Bank of India closed Monday's trading at Rs.1,632.75, down 1.19 percent from the previous close.
