Aerospace equipment maker Meggitt Plc. (MGGT.L) said it has been informed that Philip Cox, a non-executive director of the company, has been appointed non-executive director and Chairman designate of Drax Group Plc, a power generation business, with effect from January 1, 2015.
As a result of the additional time commitments required for this new appointment, Cox has decided to resign as a non-executive director of Meggitt with effect from January 31, 2015.
Meggitt's Chairman, Sir Colin Terry, said, "On behalf of the Board I would like to thank Phil Cox for his significant contribution to the Board and the Company over the last two years and to wish him well for the future."
