Enterprise GP Holdings Names Ralph Cunningham As President, CEO - Update

Enterprise GP Holdings L.P. (EPE) said Monday that it has appointed Dr. Ralph Cunningham as president and chief executive officer, replacing Michael Creel who has been appointed as a director, president and chief executive officer of Enterprise Products Partners L.P. (EPD), which transports natural gas and crude oil.

Cunningham also will serve as a director of the general partner of Enterprise GP Holdings, as well as Duncan Energy Partners LP. Since 2005, Cunningham has been chief operating officer for the general partner of Enterprise Products Partners and was named interim president and chief executive officer earlier this year.

Creel has resigned as director, president and chief executive officer of Enterprise GP Holdings. He also resigned as chief financial officer of Enterprise Products Partners, a post he has held since 2000.

Enterprise Products Partners has appointed W. Randall Fowler as executive vice president and chief financial officer to succeed Creel. Fowler was also elected to the same positions at Duncan Energy Partners L.P. (DEP). Fowler will continue to serve as director of both the partner's boards.

Separately, Enterprise Products Partners said it has appointed William Ordemann as chief operating officer to succeed Cunningham.

Enterprise GP Holdings owns general partner and limited partner interests in Enterprise Products Partners L.P.

All the new appointments are effective August 1.

EPE is currently trading at $41.29, down 12 cents, while EPD is currently trading at $32.97, down 36 cents or 1.08% and DEP is trading at 27.87, down 59 cents or 2.07%.
