The Japanese yen inched higher versus other major currencies in the early Asian session on Monday. As of 7:30 pm ET Sunday, the yen traded higher to 212.26 versus the pound, 107.51 against the US dollar and 167.33 per euro. Traders now look forward for the BoJ announcement of monetary base in July, to be released at 7:50 pm ET Sunday.
