Wednesday, National Dentex Corporation (NADX), an owner and operator of dental laboratories in the United States, said it acquired Lansing, Michigan-based Dental Art Laboratories, Inc. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Dental Art Laboratories, which serves dentists, universities and institutions throughout the state of Michigan and surrounding states, had sales in excess of $7.5 million in its last fiscal year ended December 31, 2007.
National Dentex said Dental Art, led by Dick Blundy and Bryan Medler, has built long-tenured supervisors, managers, technicians and support personnel, averaging 18 years of industry experience and over 14 years of service to its clients, and added that it is committed to the acquisition program and is in talks with a number of potential acquisition candidates.
NADX is currently up $0.03 or 0.32% and trades at $9.45.
