Shares of Temple-Inland (TIN) gapped up at the open on Wednesday and continued to rise for the first 15 minutes of the session. The stock saw further buying interest in the afternoon, closing up $1.98 at $18.65 on heavier than average volume.
With the nearly 12% gain, the stock broke through resistance and it rose above its 200-day moving average to set a seven month closing high.
