Four Christmases, released by Warner Bros., a unit of Time Warner Inc. (TWX), with $31.7 million led the North American box office for the Thanksgiving weekend.
Bolt, with $26.6 million, moved up to No.2, one up from last week, while last week's No.1 Twilight fell to No.3 grossing $26.4 million. Bolt was distributed by Walt Disney Pictures and Twilight by privately-held Summit Entertainment LLC.
Quantum of Solace came down to the fourth position from last week's No.2, with $19.5 million, while Australia came in at No.5 with $14.82 million. Madagascar: Escape to Africa collected $14.50 million to drop to No. 6 from No. 4 and Transporter 3 was at the seventh position with $12.33 million.
Role Models, which dropped three spots to eighth position, collected $5.28 million. The Boy in the Striped Pajamas and Milk were at No. 9 and No.10, respectively.
