Bahrain and Russia agreed to sign a memorandum of understanding over cooperation in nuclear energy for civilian purposes.
This was disclosed by visiting King of Bahrain, Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa, in Moscow Tuesday.
Addressing a joint news conference with Russian President Dmitry Medvedev, the Bahraini King said his government was in favor of the holding of an international conference over the Middle East in Moscow.
Earlier, the leaders discussed the execution of mega projects and development of infrastructure in Bahrain.
Both sides signed a joint declaration to boost bilateral relations.
