Harman Intl. Industries Inc. (HAR) announced the appointment of Rajat Gupta as a member of the Board of Directors. The company said Gupta will serve under this appointment until December 2011.
Gupta is currently a Senior Partner Emeritus of McKinsey & Co. Gupta also currently serves as a director of Goldman Sachs, Procter & Gamble, Genpact and AMR Corp.
