Led Zeppelin’s “In Through The Out Door” hit number one on the Billboard 200 album chart on September 15, 1979. Though the LP wasn’t well-received by critics, its commercial success provided a boon for Zeppelin’s other albums as well. Every release in the Zeppelin catalog would make the Billboard 200 between the weeks of October 23 and November 3 in 1979. “Fool In The Rain,” the best-known tune from "In Through The Out Door," would go on to hit number 21 on the Hot 100 singles chart as well. “In Through The Out Door” would be the last album Led Zeppelin would release together, as drummer John Bonham would pass away after a night of binge drinking in September 1980.
