The consensus estimate was for a loss of $0.57. The company expects to report full year 2010 EPS of $0.70 to $0.85, compared to the consensus estimate of $0.75.
Perry Ellis International traded to the upside until around mid-afternoon Wednesday and finished higher by $1.53 at $10.45 on above average volume. The stock rose above resistance and set over a 10-month high.
