America's Car-Mart (CRMT) reported first quarter EPS of $0.60 Tuesday morning, which exceeded the consensus estimate of $0.41. America's Car-Mart gapped up Tuesday and climbed during the first hour of trade. Shares rose further around mid-afternoon and closed higher by $3.45 at $24.05 on the highest volume in nearly 10 months. The stock broke out of a 2-month range and set a new high for the year.
